Serving Diverse Constituencies: Applying the Ecological Perspective

Explores how social workers have used the theoretical perspective of the ecosystem to provide culturally competent social work services in a number of fields and practice settings, and tells how to conduct ecologically and culturally sensitive research and social policy initiatives. Themes of health and well-being, resilience, bicultural competence, and empowerment are addressed.
